The CMF (Context Management Framework) is about to make the transition to become the CASAA (Context Ad Serving and Analytics) framework.
Why the name change? Because of many context frameworks that are available for Drupal and other systems on the web, I decided to change the name to help give the system a stronger standpoint in terms of branding.
This re-branding also represents the full official release of the system to world by being available officially on Drupal.org. More news will come on that, and thanks to all that have contributed code and feedback on the system through it's base construction!
Though the name is changing, the system and interface will not change (it will evolve...).
In this "evolution"/re-branding the main changes include a large amount of code and naming convention changes withing the system's code, itself. There will also be added features for a more robust interface, as well as performance enhancements.
Plug-in and API support:
All current and future plug-ins will be supported by the framework as they were before and no upgrades will be required for them to work. So, there's no need to worry about your current system.
Current users of the CMF will be able to upgrade to the new system without losing current settings and will still be able to take advantage of the future features with minimal hassle.
More information will be available as I work to ready the system for the change-over.
Welcome CASAA.
The latest (last) version of the CMF is now available for those currently currently running CMF for Drupal 6.x. Refer to: Download CMF
