The Log Cabin Democrat newspaper of Conway, Arkansas is soon to have a much needed makeover as their site is due to launch on the SMS (Site Management System) platform developed with Drupal/Pressflow by Morris Digitalworks, based in Augusta, GA.

In This Version:

Bug Fixes:
- the issue with multi-level URL paths is now fixed

Features:
- expanded view of term and path settings has been added to allow admins to be able to view current settings minus the restriction of searching through the pagination as on the main mapping settings page.

Other notes:

The CMF (Context Management Framework) is about to make the transition to become the CASAA (Context Ad Serving and Analytics) framework.

Why the name change? Because of many context frameworks that are available for Drupal and other systems on the web, I decided to change the name to help give the system a stronger standpoint in terms of branding.

06/30/2009 - 17:12

We, at Morris DigitalWorks, have been working like dogs to optimize our Drupal sites' performance by trying different caching modules and combinations of configurations and yet, we hadn't found the most optimal solution until earlier this week.

I'm deprecating the issue queue for the CMF module because all of the issues therein have been resolved with the upcoming release of the CASAA module that will replace the CMF.

Issues that deal directly with plug-ins for the system will be moved into their own specific issue queues so that they can still be viewed and reviewed for all pending work.

As of yesterday, the CASAA beta module has been officially released on Drupal.org.

This release is only a Beta release to get the core module out into the world and allow the community to begin to use and develop for the framework itself.

The module is available here on this site as well as Drupal Project: CASAA.

Thanks to all of the feedback from the community and fellow team members, I have finally worked out and ringed the system of it's largest bugs plus, have been able to get the performance aspect of the module fine-tuned.

With all of that I'm am confident and ready to take the system out of beta status and into full release status.

There will be some major changes with the core framework module and the included plug-ins but, no changes to the db and data structure.
